Structures:
1. Gravity: 
Retail building: A combination of TJI I-joists and open-web truss joists, wood/steel beams that are supported by wood-framed walls, reinforced CMU walls and wood/steel columns.
Carwash building: Non-filled metal deck supported by light-gauge steel joists and steel framing. 
2. Lateral: 
Retail building: Wood-framed diaphragm supported by special steel moment frames, light-gauge stud-framed shear walls and reinforced CMU shear walls.
Carwash building: Non-filled metal deck diaphragm supported by special steel moment frames and sure-board light-gauge stud-framed shear walls.
