Structures:
1. Gravity: 
The existing floor and roof are open-web joists supported by steel/wood posts and masonry/wood walls.
New floor/deck extension is concrete fill over metal deck supported by steel framing.
New roof over floor/deck extension is sawn lumber wood joists and beams.
2. Lateral: 
New concrete filled deck properly tied to existing wood diaphragm  laterally supported by new reinforced concrete shear walls, reinforced CMU shear walls, and existing reinforced masonry shear walls.

Status: 
Completed in 2014.
